Building Pathways to Independent Living
At Legacy Pathways Foundation, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity, skills, and support needed to thrive as an independent adult. Our programs empower underserved, justice-involved, Department of Children and Families, and Department of Youth Services-involved youth through life skills education, workforce readiness, mentorship, and individualized transition support.
Who We Serve
Legacy Pathways Foundation serves:
Youth ages 16–23 transitioning into adulthood
Justice-involved youth involved with or transitioning from systems of care
Young people aging out of foster care or residential programs
Youth experiencing housing instability or economic hardship
High school students preparing for independence
Young adults seeking workforce readiness and life skills development
Community-based youth referred by schools, agencies, or partner organizations
OUR CORE PROGRAM
School of Life
Preparing Youth for Real Life
The School of Life is Legacy Pathways Foundation's signature life skills and workforce readiness program. This structured curriculum helps young people build the practical knowledge and confidence needed to succeed in adulthood.
Participants engage in interactive workshops, skill-building activities, guided reflection, mentorship, and individualized planning focused on real-world success.

Transitional Housing
Building the Foundation for Long-Term Success
Legacy Pathways' Pre-Independent Transitional Housing program supports young adults who are ready to take the next step toward independence while continuing to benefit from structure, guidance, and life skills development.
Our program bridges the gap between residential care and independent living by providing a safe, stable environment where participants gain the confidence and practical experience needed to thrive.
Through accountability, mentorship, and individualized planning, residents strengthen daily living skills while working toward educational, career, housing, and personal goals.

Every participant enters the program with unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Legacy Pathways develops a personalized growth plan that identifies milestones, addresses barriers, and supports continued progress through case management, coaching, and regular goal reviews.

The goal of the Pre-Independent Transitional Housing
program is to equip young adults with the tools,
resources, resilience, and confidence needed for
successful independent living. Through hands-on
experience, mentorship, and consistent support,
participants are better prepared to secure housing,
maintain employment, pursue education, and build
stable, successful futures.
