Monique N. Hughes‑Henry, MBA, serves as the Treasurer and Operations Lead for the Legacy Pathway Foundation, bringing more than 15 years of executive‑level experience in finance coordination, procurement operations, governance, and organizational leadership. In her role, Monique oversees the Foundation’s financial stewardship, budgeting, vendor management, and compliance infrastructure, ensuring that all operational processes support the organization’s mission to empower youth and strengthen community pathways.
Monique plays a key role in Legacy Pathway’s partnerships with the Department of Youth Services (DYS) and City of Boston officials, supporting program development, site readiness, and collaborative initiatives that expand access to safe, structured, and impactful youth programming. Her work includes coordinating facility inspections, managing vendor onboarding, and maintaining audit‑ready financial documentation aligned with state and municipal standards.
Monique’s commitment to community service is deeply rooted in her long‑standing involvement with Brockton Interfaith Community, where she previously served as a member of Messiah Baptist Church and now actively serves with Restoration Community Church. Through these partnerships, she has supported citywide initiatives, youth engagement programs, and collaborative efforts that strengthen families and build bridges across diverse communities. Her faith‑based leadership continues to shape her approach to service, advocacy, and organizational development.
With a career spanning major organizations, including Takeda Pharmaceuticals. Sanofi/Genzyme and The Gillette Company/Procter & Gamble. Monique brings deep expertise in executive support, project management, financial controls, and cross‑functional operations. She is known for her professionalism, strategic thinking, and ability to build strong relationships across diverse stakeholders.
Monique also served as President and Area Director within Toastmasters International, where she led multiple clubs to Distinguished status, strengthened leadership pipelines, and modernized operational processes. Her commitment to communication excellence and leadership development continues to influence her work within the Foundation.
Monique holds an MBA from Cambridge College, a Graduate Certificate in Management from Harvard Extension School, and a B.S.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She is dedicated to advancing Legacy Pathway’s vision of creating sustainable, supportive, and transformative opportunities for youth and families across Massachusetts.
